During the first day of the Tianguis Turístico, the Ministry of Economic Development, Tourism and Fisheries, representing the Government of Mazatlán, attended appointments with national and international operators at the Sinaloa stand, with the aim of attracting new markets such as Colombia, Brazil and the United Kingdom, without losing sight of agencies in Canada, the United States and national wholesalers.
In this sense, the opening of a new route of the airline Viva Aerobus was announced, which connects La Paz with Mazatlán by air, thus achieving the potential of both destinations.
It should be remembered that for this edition the great attraction is the New Mazatlán Aquarium, which will open its doors next April, which will allow business partners to sell longer stays within their packages.
During the day there was an active participation of the Royal Court of the International Carnival of Mazatlán 2023, promoting the maximum party of the port, as well as the great diversity of cultural offer that is available throughout the year.
A working meeting was also held with Julio Cesar Bojórquez, President of AMPROFEC, with whom it was agreed to work together to continue increasing the Congresses and Conventions in Mazatlán.
