Mazatlán, Sin.- At least four more days will last the rehabilitation works carried out by the Public Works office at the Camarón Sábalo avenue, in the port of Mazatlán, after having removed the “megatopes”, causing slow vehicular traffic in the area.

Rigoberto Arámburo Bojórquez, head of the municipal agency, commented that they are currently working on the lane that goes from north to south, and added that with the removal of the speedbump will be a healthier, cleaner road and will allow better circulation.

“The annoyance of the famous ‘megatopes’ was very intense, it was causing mistreatment of public roads, causing accidents and disadvantaged in terms of road congestion,” said the Mazatlan municipal official.

Arámburo Bojórquez also explained that they are pouring the concrete in the lane from north to south, so the opposite lane is enabled for two-way vehicular circulation, and once they finish in this lane, they will continue with the lane that goes from south to north.

Rigoberto Arámburo Bojórquez estimated that the work could be finished in four days, for which he asks the citizens for a little patience, detailing that a crew of 10 people is working and that once the work is finished, there will be an improvement in the sidewalks of those Mazatlan port crossings.
