Hoteliers do not know what will happen to the resources obtained from the 3% per lodging.

MAZATLAN.- One of the best attractions that the destination has had in recent years is undoubtedly the so-called “Festival of Light”, which dresses the sky of the port in multicolored flashes in a one hundred percent family atmosphere, and which manages to attract a lot of tourism to the city.

The president of the Tres Islas Hotels Association, José Ramón Manguart Sánchez, indicated that they are still waiting for any indication to start this great event that leaves good accounts to the destination.

He indicated that you still do not know what will happen with the so-called 3 percent of lodging that is charged, which is why nothing can be planned without first having an explanation of that resource.

“About the Festival of Light, we still do not have information on how the three percent resources will be managed, but we are already in the process of moving forward with the information,” said Manguart Sánchez.

On the other hand, the hotelier pointed out that the bridge has left great bonanzas to the destination, and now they are getting ready to receive the tourism that will arrive at the port during Holy Week and Motorcycle Week (in the Easter period); Both visitors leave a pleasant economic impact, he assured.
