The Secretary of Economic Development, Tourism and Fisheries pointed out that the El Habal-La Noria tourist circuit is an example that will be replicated throughout the state.
Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- The first El Habal Sunday Market was successfully held, which will strengthen this tourist circuit, said Ricardo Velarde Cárdenas.
The Secretary of Economic Development, Tourism and Fisheries commented that this little market is part of the El Habla-La Noria circuit and the gateway to the tourist corridor, hence the importance that the citizen committee organize itself to be able to promote the attractions that this community has. one of those close to Mazatlan.
” We are in the first Sunday market in the town of El Habal and we want to replicate these attractions because they are undoubtedly strengths that help Mazatlán continue to consolidate beyond the sun and beach, but rather rural tourism is one of the attractions that tourists are looking for more,” he said.
During the inauguration there were 12 vendors of handicrafts, ceviches, tamales, tacos, traditional sweets, crafts among others; there were also horseback rides and band music.
Velarde Cárdenas highlighted that the Gastronomic and Artisan Tianguis “La Noria my beloved town” has been a success story for the reactivation not only for the community but for the entire corridor.
He added that they are also working with citizen committees in El Recodo and Veranos to formalize the tourist circuit in the Picachos Dam, El Quelite-El Quemado, among others.
