The recommendation is “if you can stay home” so that you do not expose yourself to contagion or reinfection and thus avoid the development of serious illness in the face of the fourth wave of COVID that continues to leave victims.

Sinaloa. – Just on Friday it was confirmed by the Ministry of Health that Sinaloa will return to the orange warning light, after remaining for almost a month at the yellow one that gave the possibility of greater mobility and without radical restrictions.

However, the growing increase in reported cases and the increased risk of COVID have led to a change in the alert color that is rated high and that precedes the red, maximum alert.

But, what are the restrictions indicated by the COVID Traffic Light in orange?

This epidemiological traffic light that will be in force from February 7 to 20, and which leads Sinaloa to turn orange, highlights four important alerts:

• If you can, stay home.
• Reduction of community mobility.
• The operation of economic and social activities will be with a capacity of 50%.
• The educational model will function under the new normality as established by the SEP.
• The use of a face mask is mandatory in all public spaces.

If the growth curve continues, it will be inevitable for Sinaloa to return to the red COVID Traffic Light that establishes the following provisions:

• If possible, stay home.
• The operation of economic and social activities will be indicated by the local or federal authority.
• The educational model will function under the new normality as established by the SEP.
• The use of a face mask is mandatory in all public spaces.

Now the priority will be to comply with the provisions of the Ministry of Health and be attentive to the application of vaccines in the first, second and third, also called reinforcement, and which reduced the waiting time from five to four months for the application, after the second was applied.

COVID is still active, and its different variants too, so to prevent infections or contagions that put your life at risk, take all possible precautions!
