Tourism with a good purchasing power that normally traveled to destinations in Europe have chosen to visit national destinations and this has significantly benefited Mazatlán, emphasized José Gámez Valle.
The marketing director of the Association of Hotels and Tourist Companies of Mazatlán highlighted that this tourist is looking for five-star hotels.
“Many people who traditionally traveled to Europe, the United States, Canada or Asia, people with a very high purchasing power, are coming here with us. People who traveled abroad are visiting the interior of the country ”, he explained.
Mazatlán is one of the main attractions of the state, with its boardwalk, one of the longest in the world, or its seafood, as well as the departure of the Chepe Express, a tourist train that connects the coast with the mountains to the Copper Canyon, a canyon greater than that of Colorados in the United States.
The Sea of Cortés that bathes Sinaloa is considered one of the largest natural aquariums in the world, while the original communities of this state are among those that best preserve their traditions in all of America, along with towns that maintain colonial architecture, among other outstanding attractions.
Regarding the end of the year, Gámez said that most of the hotels in the port already have reservations up to the limit with which they are allowed to operate due to the pandemic.
