33 MAZATLAN DRIVERS TESTED POSITIVE ALCOHOL METER ON THE WEEKEND

Mazatlán.- The Breathalyzer program that the Municipal Government implements every weekend, with the participation of the Sub-Directorate of Municipal Traffic, Civil Protection, Internal Organ, Medical Services, Internal Affairs and Fiscal of the City Council, yielded a balance of 33 drivers who they exceeded the allowed alcohol index, for which they were sanctioned; in total, 225 tests were carried out.

According to the balance of results, on Friday 107 alcohol tests were applied, while on Saturday there were 118.

In total there were 191 men and 34 women. 33 drivers tested positive, being 28 men and 5 women. Another 51 people with alcoholic breath to a lesser extent.

Of the units collected by the personnel participating in the Breathalyzer, 31 were released in the same place by direct relatives of the drivers, while 2 vehicles were transferred to the municipal pension, and their respective drivers were referred to the Court.
