Fireworks explode in a political campaign event in Hidalgo

Tepeapulco, Hidalgo (September 6th, 2020).- The events occurred in the Pino Suárez neighborhood of the Tepeapulco municipality; a minor was injured.

One child injured was the balance left by the explosion of a pyrotechnic package used during the election campaign for mayor of an independent candidate, reported the emergency services of the state of Hidalgo .

The events occurred in the Pino Suárez neighborhood of the municipality of Tepeapulco, where the independent candidate for mayor of this town, Francisco Hernández was carrying out political propaganda act along with car caravan.

The candidate himself was onboard a tractor that was pulling a cart carrying the pyrotechnics when suddenly the whole cart exploded at the site.

In the place there was a 12-year-old kid who resulted injured, so paramedics arrived at the scene to provide care for the affected person. He was reported stable and safe, he just suffered minor burns.
