Authorities inaugurate beautification works of Gutiérrez Nájera Ave in Mazatlan

Mazatlán, Sinaloa.- With a bipartisan investment of 15 million pesos, this Thursday state and municipal authorities inaugurated the Rehabilitation, Modernization, and Equipment in a section of Manuel Gutiérrez Nájera avenue, which has a length of 450 meters.

This stretch includes from Avenida del Mar to Juan Carrasco, works that started last Wednesday, April 15 to the amazement and surprise of merchants and neighbors since they began in full health contingency derived by Covid-19.

For the beautification of said street, the replacement of the entire pavement with hydraulic concrete, public lighting, the renewal of the potable water and drainage networks, as well as the construction of a bicycle lane were contemplated.

In his message, the mayor of Mazatlán, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, first thanked the presence of Governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel, his wife Rosy Fuentes de Ordaz, as well as his wife Gabriela Peña Chico.

He commented that the remodeling is a work for fifty years that will benefit merchants and neighbors.
