Mazatlan will have a new flight to La Paz

A new route to La Paz-Mazatlán will begin as of August 20, which will operate on Thursdays and Sundays.

Sectur announced a new La Paz-Mazatlán flight, on a virtual platform, the Secretaries of Tourism of Sinaloa and Baja California Sur are working on the reactivation of tourist destinations.

The Mexican airline Transportes Aéreos Regionales (TAR), will start a new route with destination La Paz-Mazatlán starting on August 20, which will operate on Thursdays and Sundays, informed the Secretary of Tourism Óscar Pérez Barros.

In a digital press conference, in which the Secretary of Tourism of Baja California Sur Luis Araiza López and the Commercial Director of TAR, Ángel García Colín, also participated, the head of Sectur Sinaloa added that Mazatlán is a tourist destination that offers great expectations to visitors.

Thursday flights:
La Paz- Mazatlán will depart at 12:30 p.m. arriving at 1:35 p.m., and from Mazatlán- La Paz leaves at 11:00 a.m. to arrive at 12:10 p.m.

Sundays: La Paz-Mazatlán leaves at 4:55 p.m. to arrive at 6:00 p.m. and from Mazatlán to La Paz it will leave at 3:25 p.m. to arrive at 4:35 p.m.

Pérez Barros, referring to the problem of the COVID 19 pandemic, said that both Sinaloa and Baja California Sur carry out the tasks relevant to comply with the established health protocols.

García Colín announced that during the months of August to December they expect to have a flow of approximately 1,220 passengers, with prices from 1,125 pesos plus tax, and in that period they expect an economic spill of the order of 3.5 million pesos; the planes will have a capacity for 50 passengers and expect 25 people per flight.
