Chihuahua tourist drowns in Mazatlan beach

Mazatlán, Sinaloa (July 24, 2020).- A tourist from the Mexican state of Chihuahua lost his life when he entered the beach located in front of the Estrella del Mar complex.

The event was recorded at around 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 23rd, when the corporations were alerted.

According to the report, the cause of death due to liquid immersion as the tourist was dragged by a strong wave and his body emerged from the sea.

Agents of the aquatic rescue squad (ESA) of the municipal public security secretariat supported the rescue but were unable to do anything to save the man’s life.

The victim was identified by his relatives as Alan N., 30 years old.

After confirming the death, the rescuers requested the presence of the state authorities who immediately arrived to attest to the events and order the transfer to the funeral home on duty.
