All beaches in La Paz closed until further notice

La Paz, Baja California Sur.- After the two cases of Covid-19 were registered in La Paz, the head of Zofemat, Susana Rubio Lucero, reported that all the beaches of the municipality from Puerto Chale to Los Barriles will remain closed for all people.

The Official said that all beaches will remain closed until April 19, there will be permanent surveillance throughout the coastline, to make sure this provision is followed.

“Surveillance is being carried out on all the beaches until day and night, with the intention of summoning the population to withdraw and take shelter in their homes,” she added.

Rubio Lucero asked the inhabitants of the municipality of La Paz to adhere to the preventive measures that the authorities are applying with the intention of stopping the spread of the coronavirus.

“The national visitors are the most reluctant to leave the beach, but the people from La Paz are staying at home, and following the dispositions of the local authorities,” Susana Rubio Lucero said.
