The route will be for the winter season and is now available for ticket sales; will connect Baja California Sur with another destination in Mexico
La Paz, Baja California Sur (BCS) . Before the high season of the end of the year, a new winter route of La Paz-Mazatlán is incorporated, which will operate between December 2019 and January 2020, the airline Viva Aerobus announced; It will have a frequency of 2 flights a week.
Tickets for the new route are already on sale so that travelers can purchase them in advance. All will be operated with Airbus A320 aircraft, being the youngest fleet in Mexico, with an average age of 3.8 years.
“We know the needs of our passengers in this holiday and holiday season […] for this reason, we are committed to providing more flight options,” said the general director of the airline, Juan Carlos Zuazua.
La Paz has a connection to 4 destinations: Culiacán, Guadalajara, Mazatlan (this covers from December 14 to January 4) and Monterrey, while, from Los Cabos, another 6 routes are operated, he said.
“In these 10 months of the year we have achieved a 12% increase in the number of customers from/to La Paz compared to 2018, with a total of over 100,000 travelers,” he said.
Finally, the return of another 6 winter season routes was announced: Cancun-Newark, New Jersey, Cancun– San José de Costa Rica; Guadalajara-Houston; Monterrey to Huatulco; Monterrey -Ixtapa Zihuatanejo and Monterrey-Los Angeles.
