Arturo Murillo, a Bolivian minister, said Ivan Archivaldo Guzmán, son of Joaquín “ El Chapo Guzmán”, studied to become a pilot in Bolivia, protected by former President Evo Morales.
The minister said that by 2015, the son of the drug trafficker studied piloting in Santa Cruz de la Sierra and had a provisional credential to access the Legislative Assembly.
During an interview for a local media, Murillo said that Evo Morales was in charge of multiple “acts of terrorism” during his tenure, in addition to offering freedom to Mexican and Brazilian cartels to operate in peace.
“There was a government that protected drug trafficking. Little by little the masks will fall, ”said Murillo.
It should be noted that Bolivia has an estimated income between one thousand and 1.5 billion dollars from drug trafficking.
