Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- The Mexican Association of the Construction Industry, AMIC, will hold its IV National Assembly in Mazatlan from December 05 to 07.

On Thursday 05 sessions will be held for members of this institution. Meanwhile, on Friday, December 6, the presentations and panels for the general public will be presented, and on Saturday 07, recreational activities will be held.

The topics to be addressed in the panels and presentations are: Building smart and sustainable cities for Mexico; Transparency in public works; Expectations of the tourist infrastructure; Presentation of innovative technologies: Mitsubichi smart solutions for your projects.

It is expected that during Friday, officials from the three levels of government will attend, including senators and deputies and the presence of the Secretary of Tourism at the Federal level, Miguel Torruco Marqués.

At a press conference, the national president of AMIC, Ricardo García de León Coria, highlighted the importance that Mazatlan has recently gained in the construction industry and predicted that this activity could still be consolidated for at least 15 more years.

“We have to send a message to Mexico and the world that Mazatlan, that Sinaloa, is a place where you can come to invest, where there is social peace, where there is a fertile land of opportunities and that you see what Mazatlan is growing: it is impressive See how many works they are doing, ”he said.
