The Callejoneadas magical events that take place in festive seasons, especially during the carnival celebration in the port of Mazatlan. It is a collective celebration where people take to the streets to enjoy the festivities with rhythm, music, beer, and a very good attitude. But for this occasion, within the framework of the UNESCO / Mazatlan International Forum, was a mini parade on June 6, which was a journey full of fantasy, music, and joy with all the spirit of a traditional street party.
The tour started at the Escudo (Paseo Olas Altas against Miguel Alemán) at 5:30 in the afternoon, accompanied by drums and headed with a wheelbarrow full of beer, touring the streets of Old Mazatlan.
The Callejoneada departed from the Escudo, by Olas Altas to turn on Avenida Constitución and finish at Plazuela Machado, where at the end a folkloric dance performance led by the Folkloric Ballet of the Institute of Culture, ended with a flourish with the Musical atmosphere on the part of the band “El Mazatleco”.
