The agency explained that temperatures are estimated from -5 to 0 degrees Celsius in the sierras of Baja California, Chihuahua, Sonora and Durango.
And from 0 to 5 degrees Celsius in mountain areas of Coahuila, Nuevo León, Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, Zacatecas, Querétaro, Hidalgo, State of Mexico, Puebla, Tlaxcala and Veracruz.
For the rest of the national territory hot weather is forecast with temperatures higher than 40 degrees Celsius in areas of Nayarit, Jalisco, Michoacán, Guerrero, Oaxaca and Chiapas.
And temperatures of 35 to 40 degrees Celsius in places of Sinaloa, Colima, Guanajuato, Querétaro, Morelos, Puebla, Tabasco, Campeche, Yucatan and Quintana Roo.
Given the high temperatures, it is recommended that citizens take care of the notices issued by the National Meteorological Service, the National Water Commission, Civil Protection and state and municipal authorities, as well as taking preventive measures such as hydrating and not exposing themselves to the Sun for a long time.
Wind gusts are predicted that could exceed 60 kilometers per hour (km / h) in Chihuahua, gusts greater than 50 km / h in the Peninsula of Baja California, the Sea of Cortés, Sonora, Sinaloa, San Luis Potosí, the Isthmus of Tehuantepec and the coasts of Campeche and Yucatan, as well as the North event with gusts of over 50 km / h on the coast of Tamaulipas, during the night.
Likewise, strong storms are forecast for areas of Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosí, Hidalgo, Puebla and Veracruz, showers for sites in Guanajuato, Querétaro, Oaxaca and Chiapas, and isolated rains for Nuevo León.
