Ready for the Mazatlan Jazz Fest 2019 a tribute to Cuba

Julio Recinos, from the Cultural Institute of Mazatlan, explained the series of activities to be held from March 20 to 23 in the Mazatlan.

Sinaloa.- The Historic Center will be filled with Jazz with the sixth edition of the Mazatlan Jazz Fest 2019, where they will hold concerts, film screenings, talks, clinics and everything relevant to the wonderful musical genre, propelling other rhythms such as the banda music.

Julio Recinos, organizer of the event explained that the event will have important stages of the first picture of the city, such as the Angela Peralta Theater, the Plazuela Machado, the Municipal Arts Center, Hass House, and restaurants, where they will celebrate the 500th anniversary of Havana, Cuba.

We put together a poster with the stars of Cuba, where the singer Maritza Montero came, who was the most important cabaret diva in Havana, which is the Tropicana Cabaret in Cuba.”

Artists from Cuba, Mexico City, Chiapas, Durango and Mazatlan will arrive at the port for the festival, which has a dinner for benefit as well as the screening of a Nina Simone biographical tape, piano clinics, and the inauguration in one of the most important venues in the region, the Ángela Peralta Theater.

The invitation is open to live the Mazatlan Jazz Fest 2019 and its different activities, mostly free thanks to the support and sponsorship of the Historic Center Board and the Ministry of Tourism.
