Before hundreds of people who received him in the shade of a leafy tree, Governor Ordaz Coppel recognized that Copala was very abandoned, because when the highway was built, it was left out of the way of travelers and tourists, so that its economy began to decay, when closing restaurants, hotels or hostels, and various shops that lived on tourism.

For this reason, he emphasized that with this road tourist will be able to return, to generate employment and income for these families, besides that it will be managed with the cruise ship industry that arrives to Mazatlan, that visits of cruise passengers to Copala will be scheduled so that they know the beauty of this town. “We have to make more tourists come,” he said.
