Warm weather for Sinaloa while Cold Front 26 affects the rest of Mexico

The cold front No. 26 will travel northeast and east of the country, causing strong point storms in Tamaulipas, San Luis Potosi, Querétaro, Hidalgo, Puebla, and Veracruz, as well as rains with showers in the Valley of Mexico. The mass of cold air that drives it, will maintain a cold environment in much of the territory and event of “North” with gusts greater than 50 km / h in Tamaulipas. On the other hand, the cold front No. 27 (of short duration) in the northwest of the country, is combined with a polar trough and a strong pulse of the jet stream, causing a marked drop in temperature, rainfall and the possibility of falling snow. or sleet in mountainous areas of the states of Baja California, Sonora, Chihuahua, and Durango.

For today, the cold front No. 26 will extend from the southern Gulf of Mexico to the southeast of the country, so it is expected cloudy with strong point storms in the east and southeast of the territory. The associated cold air mass will maintain a cold environment, mainly in the morning and night, in a large part of the Mexican Republic, with fog banks in the eastern and central states, as well as a “Norte” event with major gusts of 50 km / h in Tamaulipas and Veracruz, and higher than 70 km / h in the Isthmus and Gulf of Tehuantepec.
