Bars from all over the world struggle to enter this prestigious list.
Restaurant magazine presented at a ceremony in London the list of “The World’s 50 Best Bars”, which only enter those bars that have found the perfect balance of flavors and are chosen by experts in mixology.
This is the tenth year in which the list is made, and as every year the chosen places have been selected by more than 500 experts in drinks from around the world. The list represents the definitive guide for the best bars worldwide.

In this year’s list the bars that ranked in the first ten places are – mostly – in London and New York; nevertheless, two Mexican bars managed to locate themselves within this prestigious list that only the best in the world enter.

Limantour liquor store was located at number 11. Located in Mexico City, in Colonia Roma and El Polanco, this place has appeared on the list four years in a row, and the reason is that it is a place where mixologists have achieved the perfect blend of flavors and colors.
In addition, each cocktail achieves a precise balance of flavors and has managed to combine classic and modern cocktails in such a way that it has become a quality that distinguishes it from other bars in the city.

On the other hand, Fifty Mills, the Four Seasons hotel bar on Paseo de la Reforma was placed at number 45 due to its classic cocktails and its great atmosphere, generated by its decoration in the English colonial style.
