Uber, the giant of private transportation in Mexico continues its process of expansion at national level. This week, Uber announced its arrival in Los Cabos, one of the most important tourist destinations nationwide.
In the statement, Uber executives say that more than 1,400 job opportunities will be generated in the municipality of Los Cabos, allowing more than 200,000 inhabitants to enjoy a new option of private transportation.
During 2018, more than 100,000 people tried to request an Uber service in Los Cabos, (55% foreigners and 45% locals), demonstrating the great interest of the people who reside or travel there to make use of this type of transportation service.
UberX and UberASSIST will be the two services available in Los Cabos, which mobile apps can be downloaded on any smartphone (Android, iOS and Windows).
