Tourists endorse preference for Mazatlan

Malecón hotels and some of the golden zone registered very good attendance in the weekend.

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- Mazatlan is still very visited by regional tourism, which takes advantage of weekends to rest in the port.

Since Friday afternoon, the tourist spots of the city were filled with visitors from the northern corridor states, such as Durango, Coahuila, Zacatecas, Nuevo Leon, and also from the main cities of Sinaloa.

Departure

This Sunday, between 12:00 and 14:00 hours, began to withdraw groups of visitors who return in tourist trucks, and also those who go in their private vehicles. Both explain that they like to come after the holidays since they find good packages.

The secretary of the Canaco, Guillermo Romero, pointed out that on weekends, occupancy in hotels registers from 50 to 55 percent, and there are even businesses in which it is even higher.

Attractions

In a group of tourists, Matiana Tiznado, Lorena Reyes and Mónica del Roble travel. They claim to be from the state of Durango. Since the road opened, they come at least one weekend a month.

When questioning them about the cost of the rates, they considered that they are acceptable, but they clarify that they always come after the holiday ends and this allows them to access rates more economically than in the high season.

What they like most is that there is tourism, but it is not saturated. They can enjoy the beach more quietly and even walk without any problem.

In the pools, you can also swim without worrying about disturbing others.

In addition, they expressed that Mazatlan is already the beach of the inhabitants of Durango. When they do not have to stay and come for a day, they only have to get up early to arrive at a good time and make the most of the day and return in the afternoon.

Saturated

Tourist spots such as the Aquarium, the Pino Suárez market, the Fisherman’s Monument, the lighthouse and the boardwalk are saturated by visitors from the region, and even from abroad.

In two weeks more tourism is expected for the national holidays, on September 15 and 16.
