Dry palm tree falls on the Mazatlan boardwalk and split in two

One of the date palms that were placed during the remodeling of the Malecon, on Avenida del Mar, fell on Sunday morning to the ground in half, without causing damage to the tourist that walked through this area.

Miguel Pérez, Director of Municipal Public Services, mentioned that this was due to a strong wind that shook several palm trees on Saturday night.

However, the palm tree broke in half, revealing the deterioration and dryness that most palms condition that have been replaced are in.
