MAZATLÁN ADD 60 MORE POLICE TO REINFORCE SECURITY IN ELECTORAL PERIOD

Mazatlan, Sinaloa.- In order to guarantee the security and tranquility of the Mazatlan people and those who visit us, prior to, during and after the election day to be held on Sunday, a group of 60 elements from the city of Culiacán arrived in Mazatlan.

The agents who are trained in the State Institute of Criminal Sciences and Public Safety, came to this city today at dawn and immediately went to work in the tasks of crime prevention and security. Image may contain: one or more people, people standing, beard and outdoor

There are 51 men and 9 women trained to attend to any incident that may arise.

At the moment, the elements were distributed in the coastal zone awaiting new orders.

With these actions, it is sought that the electoral day in its previous stage, during and after it passes with tranquility and of presenting any criminal incident, is attended immediately and is channeled to those responsible to the ministerial instance or competent authority.

The secretary of public security of Mazatlan stressed that for this Sunday, an intense vigilance will be maintained not only outside the polling stations and electoral instances but throughout the geography of the municipality in both urban and rural areas.

The SSPM invites the public to continue reporting cases that put their social environment at risk, as well as anonymously report 911 or 986 81 26 any type of activity or suspicious person, to safeguard the welfare of the Mazatlan people and they visit us.
