The State Secretary of Government, Carlos Alcaraz Gutiérrez, reported that the Sinaloa Attorney General’s Office now has information on the whereabouts of the three young men from Querétaro, originally from San Juan del Río, who disappeared in Mazatlán.
This was part of a final update given this Thursday by the authorities. He added that the Attorney General’s Office in that state also has information about the motive that led these young men to be in that area. However, out of respect for the actions of the Attorney General’s Office and the families, he requested that the Sinaloa authorities formally inform them.
He also indicated that the families of the three young men are in communication with the Search for Persons Commissioner, who is providing them with updates.
The head of the State Secretary of Government indicated that there is information that allows people to make the decision about whether or not to travel to other states in the country, noting that in Mexico there are places where it has been suggested not to go if it is strictly not necessary to travel to those areas.
