The Arctic air mass that drives the 22nd cold front of the season dressed the Badiraguato mountain range in white, and although there has not yet been a snowfall as such, in La Mesa del Fierro families woke up this January 10 to a frozen atmosphere due to the presence of frost, while in Surutato there was sleet.

In images and videos shared by residents of both places through the Social Communication Coordination of the Badiraguato City Council, it can be seen how in La Mesa del Fierro the frost remained on the plants, trees, vehicles and everything that was outside, leaving it with a frozen appearance.

In contrast to the first rays of the sun of the day, a beautiful postcard of the Sinaloa mountain range is created, with its imposing forest and the community homes covered in frost.

A place where many people would like to be to live the experience and enjoy the atmosphere generated by the low temperatures, thus escaping the heat that characterizes the rest of the state for most of the year.

In Surutato, the place with the greatest influx of visitors in the mountain municipality for its cabins and activities, the sleet also left the exterior covered in white, the sound of birds and some animals such as dogs, together with the view of the mountains allows for a moment of relaxation.

So far it has not been necessary to activate a temporary shelter by Municipal Civil Protection, however, the authorities are attentive to the weather forecast to move families to a warmer and safer place. In addition, there is winter and food support in the communities.
