The intention is to provide locals and tourists with urban decorations in line with the eclipse that can be observed on Monday, April 8th, and will be removed on April 10th, according to the Mazatlán Municipal Institute of Culture, Tourism, and Art. Irán Ramírez Reyes, from the Operations area of the Institute of Culture, indicated that the effigies will be placed on Avenida del Mar at the height of Valentinos, Insurgentes, Avenida de los Deportes, Lola Beltrán, and next to the Fisherman’s Monument.

The urban sculptures were restored and modified by the artist Henry Wilson and his team, as they had already been used during the 2024 Mazatlán International Carnival “Baroque Eclipse”.
