Román Quezada, LGBTQ+ politician, was murdered in Sinaloa

This Wednesday, March 6th, the body of Román Quezada, General Secretary of the PAN in El Fuerte, Sinaloa, and a member of the LGBT community, was found near the rural community of Macoyahui, with signs of beatings and a stab wound to the neck.

Residents found the corpse and immediately notified the authorities, who cordoned off the area where the body and a red car with the doors open were found.

Marko Cortés and Alejandro Moreno, national leaders of the PAN and the PRI, respectively, expressed their condolences and demanded justice for Quezada, who was well-loved in El Fuerte.
