Mazatlán, Sin.- The port of Mazatlán will soon have a sculpture that represents the identity of the city, as the meaning of its name well says “Land of Deer” said sculpture will be a deer of 12 meters high that will be located in the roundabout located at the crossing of Atlántico and Carlos Canseco avenues.

The huge deer was donated by a local company, located in one of the busiest crossings north of the city, in the Marina area.

Édgar González Zatarain, mayor of Mazatlán, this Saturday toured the place where the sculpture will be located to review the progress of the civil work that is carried out in the roundabout for the foundation of the base of the sculpture.

The municipal president said that he will soon announce the complete information about this sculpture donated to the municipality, which is in the process of construction in the hands of a sculptor in the city of Guadalajara.

He added that the work on the roundabout is advancing quickly, so he expressed that Mazatlán will soon have this new attraction that comes to reinforce the identity of the port.
