Rains intensify in Sinaloa due to tropical storm Lidia

Very heavy rains, with intense occasional rains, are currently being recorded in the states of Baja California Sur, Sinaloa and Nayarit, as a result of tropical storm Lidia.

The National Meteorological Service pointed out that the wide circulation of the meteor has caused the rains to intensify in those 3 states of the Pacific coastal area.

The information issued by the agency specifies that in addition to precipitation, these regions are affected by winds with strong gusts and high waves, mainly in Baja California Sur.

The increase in rain, winds and waves, the report states, is due to numerical models available to the National Water Commission (Conagua).

Due to the above, the National Meteorological Service remains attentive to the evolution of the Lidia meteor, which cannot be ruled out that it could become a hurricane.
