Sinaloa on alert for the effects of Hurricane “Nora” Mazatlán will be first to feel its strength

Sinaloa.- Partly cloudy skies in the morning and cloudy in the afternoon with very strong occasional rains, with electrical discharges and gusty winds of up to 60 kilometers per hour, are forecast for Sinaloa by the National Meteorological Service in its most recent weather forecast. 

The agency highlights that this Saturday’s rainfall could accumulate up to 75 millimeters, but as “Nora” approaches its center to this area while it continues parallel to the coastline, it will increase and the forecast is more than 150 millimeters. 

At the moment the wide clouds invade much of Sinaloa, which for the next few hours, from 6:00 to 9:00 in the morning, will focus rains in Mazatlán, Rosario, and Escuinapa.

In addition to the effects of Hurricane “Nora”, tropical waves that move through the Sierra Madre Occidental, promote these conditions that will become more acute in the next few hours and will cause adverse weather to become widespread throughout Sinaloa in the afternoon and evening.
