The virtual president-elect of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, will promote the resurgence of Fertilizantes de México ( Fertimex ), a national marketer of farm products, as well as the management of an undersecretary specializing in ICT, as well as the creation of the National Institute of Indigenous Peoples.

According to El Sol de México, this initiative emerged along with the disappearance of nine sub-secretariats, 32 delegations, two institutions and the transformation of Cisen into the National Intelligence Agency.

After signing the Ayala Siglo XXI Plan during his campaign together with peasant organizations from Jerez, Zacatecas, and López Obrador, he claimed to revive Fertimex which will sell fertilizers at low cost to producers, and give that chemical to families whose main livelihood is the crops.

In addition, the virtual president-elect will outline the creation of a marketing company for agricultural products, subordinated to the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, Rural Development, Fisheries, and Food, which will be based in Zacatecas. Diconsa will also have headquarters in that state, which is in charge of providing food for Mexican families living in poverty in the rural area of the Mexican Republic.

This marketer will be responsible for providing the farmers with goods that boost agricultural activity, buying the crops from the producers of the field and distributing them at low prices.
