Sin .- Continuing with the vaccination scheme, the State Vaccination Command received 73,100 doses of the pharmaceutical AstraZeneca for young people aged 18 years and over from Angostura, Guasave and Mocorito.
In addition, second doses will be applied in the municipality of Sinaloa, for people from 50 to 59 years old and 40 to 49 years old, who in recent weeks received the first vaccine.
Through a statement, the Secretary of Health of Sinaloa, Efrén Encinas Torres, reported that, by starting the vaccination of 18-year-olds in front of these municipalities, the commitment raised by the State Government to protect the most youth of the state.
Encinas Torres reiterated to the public that the application of prevention measures is of vital importance, together with the application of the vaccine against Covid-19.
The Secretary of Health was accompanied by Tania Medina, liaison with the Correcaminos Brigade and head of the IMSS in Sinaloa, as well as representatives of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa, the Welfare delegation, the ISSTE delegation and the Armed Forces, all united as the State Vaccination Command.
