New Mazatlan General Hospital officially inaugurated

After it was postponed on more than one occasion for different reasons and without the presence of president Andrés Manuel López Obrador, finally, the official inauguration ceremony of the new Mazatlan General Hospital “Doctor Martiriano Carvajal” took place on Wednesday Jan. 29, 2020.

The governor of Sinaloa, Quirino Ordaz Coppel, led the event together with the municipal president, Luis Guillermo Benítez Torres, different authorities of the three levels of government such as Carlos Sánchez Meneses, INSABI infrastructure coordinator; Efrén Encinas Torres, State Secretary of Health; Salvador Aburto Morales, director of the National Transplant Center of the Ministry of Health and Osvaldo López Angulo, secretary of Public Works of the state, among others.

We are proud to inaugurate this brand new state-of-the-art hospital in Mazatlan, we must follow what the Constitution and guarantee the health of all Mexicans, governor Quirino Ordaz Coppel said.
