Red alert in Sinaloa, imminent impact of Hurricane Willa; Mazatlan Ordered Shut Down

Mazatlan Sinaloa. – Mazatlan enters a red emergency due to the imminent arrival of Hurricane Willa to Sinaloan lands, and at the Civil Protection meeting, an agreement has been reached to suspend all economic activity from 2:00 p.m.

The authorities announced that the port is on red alert and that the public transport service and all types of taxis will be suspended from 3:00 p.m., waiting for people to take shelter before the arrival of Willa.

Hurricane Willa will generate waves of between 8 and 10 meters.

The eye of the hurricane will hit and hit land between 6:00 pm and 8:00 pm today. They reiterate that citizens must take shelter from 3:00 p.m. this Tuesday until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday morning.
