Mazatlán has welcomed 101 cruise ships so far in 2025, slightly more than last year.
This Wednesday, the Norwegian Jade arrived with more than 3,200 tourists on board, who will be able to enjoy the port, its cuisine, its history, and its beaches.
During the first week of December, Mazatlán will welcome four cruise ships. From the 10th to the 14th, six ships will arrive, two of which will be double-deckers. Only two cruise ships are scheduled for the third week.
And 2025 will close with the simultaneous arrival of three cruise ships: the Norwegian Jade, the Norwegian Bliss, and the New Amsterdam, carrying more than 10,000 passengers.
The Royal Princess arrived at the beginning of the month, and this Wednesday the Norwegian Jade will visit. The Norwegian Bliss will arrive on Thursday, and the New Amsterdam on Friday.
According to the Sinaloa Tourism Secretariat, 13 cruise ships arrived in January, eight in February, 15 in March, and 12 in April, marking the peak season for this segment.
Next, the numbers dropped in May as the low season began, with only seven ships arriving. June saw three arrivals, followed by four in July, three in August, and just five in September.
The new 2025-2026 cruise season began in October with 12 cruise ships, and November closed with 18.
Mazatlán is ending the year with 21 scheduled arrivals in December.
From January to December 2, 2025, the port has received 101 cruise ships, carrying 37,627 passengers. According to estimates from the Tourism Secretariat, these cruises generated 586 million pesos in economic activity for the destination.
