Banco Inmobiliario Mexicano BIM celebrated its eleventh anniversary in October

Banco Inmobiliario Mexicano, BIM, the leading financial institution for its specialization in the real estate sector, celebrated its eleventh anniversary in October as the most important multiple banking bank specializing in the Mexican real estate sector.

Banco Inmobiliario Mexicano, BIM, which has its roots in a financial institution, began its journey 15 years ago, first, as a non-banking financial institution committed to supporting real estate development in Mexico through bridge loans.

Throughout this time, it has permanently innovated to provide loans and financial solutions to developers who build homes and infrastructure to create communities in our country.

On October 1, 2013, Banco Inmobiliario Mexicano obtained its license to transform into a Multiple Bank, thus expanding its capacity to serve a greater number and profile of clients with a diverse range of services without neglecting the continuity that characterizes BIM in its contribution to the growth of the real estate sector through credit lines, financing for residential and commercial projects with specialized advice to promote sustainable development and prosperity in Mexico.

In a message addressed to the board of directors and collaborators, Mr. Víctor Manuel Requejo Hernández, President of the Board of Directors of BIM, referred to the origins and transformation of the Bank:

“We are proud to have more than 17 thousand clients throughout the country. Since 2009, when we began to grant Bridge Loans as a non-bank financial entity, to date, our commercial portfolio in this product amounts to 10.9 billion pesos, benefiting real estate developers throughout Mexico.”

“Real estate does not only mean housing, it means any place where an activity takes place: health, entertainment, commerce, industry, logistics, business, there are many additional things, you need to finance whoever buys the land to urbanize it and sell it.”

“At BIM we finance between 8% and 10% of what is done in Mexico.”

“We all deserve a better life, I see that the program for the construction of housing of the current government, from the economic point of view of the country, is good, it is not a threat, it is an opportunity.”
