You can now go to the glass viewing platform! This tourist attraction reopens at the Mazatlán Lighthouse

After five months of being closed to tourists, the glass viewing platform of the Mazatlán Lighthouse is once again open to the public who dare to climb to the top of Cerro del Crestón.

On Monday, August 12, some of the visitors who came to see this emblematic tourist site in Mazatlán told Línea Directa that they had enjoyed the port of Mazatlán from above.

The tourists commented that from the beginning of the climb, an adventure begins when practicing hiking in direct contact with nature; and, upon reaching the top, the glass bridge is the cherry on the cake.

They pointed out that being able to walk on a glass bridge, with the Pacific Ocean at their feet, was a very beautiful experience, full of adrenaline when being many meters high, so the attraction allows you to admire and see Mazatlán from above, taking beautiful postcards as a souvenir.

“Very good, a very nice experience, I just think it is a bit vain if we want to take so many photos to look good, but it is a very nice experience,” said Claudia Álvarez, a visitor from Guanajuato.

“A recommended experience, come here to the glass bridge where you can live an unforgettable experience and admire how beautiful the sea is,” said José Miguel Mireles, a visitor from Zacatecas.

Access to the Lighthouse is completely free for the public, but entry to the bridge still has the same cost, 30 pesos per person, and in addition, you must enter without shoes, but wearing socks.

Visitors considered that the time they are given to enjoy the attraction is very short, since the managers only allow groups of nine people to pass and give them 15 minutes to admire and take their photo, but they recognized that it was worth getting to know this attraction in Mazatlán.
