A man was found dead this morning next to the Faculty of Marine Sciences of the Autonomous University of Sinaloa, in Playa Pinitos.
The discovery was made at 11 a.m. in the rocky area of that beach resort.
The person was identified as Jesus “N”, who was presumably a 40-year-old homeless man.
At the time of the body’s discovery he was wearing shorts and sandals.
Elements of the Red Cross, Municipal Civil Protection and the State and Municipal police went to the scene.
It was found that the individual did not show vital signs.
According to preliminary information, it is presumed that the cause of death could be related to an overdose.
The State Attorney General’s Office arrived at the scene to collect data and prepare the report on the events.
The authorities are investigating to clarify the circumstances of the death.
