“My wife wants to greet you”: Christian Nodal sings in the rain in Mazatlán

Love hit singer-songwriter Christian Nodal hard. On what could be his honeymoon, after his wedding with Ángela Aguilar on July 24, he arrived in Mazatlán this Saturday accompanied by the regional Mexican singer to offer a concert of his “Pal Cora 2024” tour, at the “El Encanto” soccer stadium.

Around 10:40 p.m. this Saturday, the interpreter went on stage at the arena that has a capacity for 20 thousand spectators, but on this occasion it looked less than half full.

The fans who did come to the presentation showed the Sonoran that they were the ones who should be with him tonight, because not even the heavy rain that was recorded since the concert practically began and continued for more than an hour, made them move from their places.

The singer opened his concert with the song “Canción del Mariachi” and then continued with other songs such as “No te contaron mal”, “Adiós amor”, “¡Ayayay!”, “La medio”, “Botella tras botella”, “Te fallé” and “La amistad”.

As the concert progressed, the rain calmed down a bit and then came back with intensity, but it did not manage to scare away the fans who sang with open throats songs such as “Pa’ olvidarme de ella”, “Se me olvidó” and “Por el resto de tu vida”.

When the first notes of “Dime cómo quieres” sounded, a hit that Nodal performs as a duet with Aguilar, the attendees screamed with emotion, believing that the newlyweds would sing it together, but it was one of the chorus girls who accompanied the singer.

A few minutes later, Christian paused briefly and said, “My wife wants to say hello,” and extended his arm so that the “La Llorona” singer could arrive on stage dressed in baggy orange pants and a sleeveless white blouse.

Angela kissed him, turned to the audience, raised her right arm in greeting, and said goodbye to her husband with a second kiss.

Around midnight on Sunday, the rain took pity on the die-hard fans and stopped completely. By this time, Nodal had already performed the covers “Como la flor,” by Selena; “Así fue,” by Juan Gabriel; “Brillas,” by León Larregui; “Devuélveme a mi chica,” by Hombres G, and “Eso y más,” by Joan Sebastian.
