The town of La Noria is ready to “put the house up for sale” in the celebration of the sixth anniversary of its gastronomic and artisan market this Sunday, August 4, in the community shed, where they hope to gather hundreds of visitors.
Jesús Rigel Sánchez Garzón, head of the Secretariat of Economic Development, Tourism and Fisheries, reported that this event organized by the Citizen Committee of La Noria will have a gastronomic display, live music by the band “La Nueva Estrella” and various activities for the enjoyment of both Mazatlan residents and tourists.
“For us it is an honor to be able to support this citizen initiative that promotes tourism in La Noria and helps preserve the culture and tradition of the community. In that sense, we call on the people of Mazatlan to take advantage of and enjoy a family Sunday celebrating the people of La Noria.”
He pointed out that as part of this celebration, the 21 girls, boys and adolescents of the second generation of the “Cuichis Noreñas” Tourist Hosts program will be recognized.
The sixth anniversary of the “La Noria, my beloved town” Gastronomic and Artisan Market will be celebrated this coming Sunday, August 4th, starting at 9:30 in the morning and ending at 4:30 in the afternoon, in the community’s public square.
