Through social media, a video has been circulating in which an armed group threatens both retired and active police chiefs of the Public Security Secretariat in Mazatlán.

In the one-minute and 37-second video, twelve hooded men with long weapons are seen, with one of them reading a message on a cellphone. The message accuses the police chiefs of a series of abuses against citizens and within the same municipal corporation.

This is the first time that such videos, directed at police elements of the Mazatlán municipal police force, have surfaced.
