Asipona gives an estimated date of when this new tourist attraction that connects two important hills of the port could come into operation
Construction work on the zip line at the Mazatlán Lighthouse Natural Park is expected to be completed in a month, said Mariel Ancona Infanzón.
The general director of the National Port System Administration (Asipona) announced that after taking jurisdiction of Cerro del Crestón, the influx of people visiting this natural attraction continues normally.
He also said that the zip line could start operating in approximately one month, so the city will have a new tourist attraction.
“I hope that in another month the zip line will be working, perhaps a little longer. We have to see because the zip line, as I had already explained, has to be done very carefully. We have all the permits, all the safety certificates, everything that is seen is certified.”
Ancona Infanzón commented that specialists from the United States are intervening in the construction of this attraction, who are ultimately the ones who give it the final certification and make sure that international safety requirements are met.
At the top of the Crestón hill, for a few days now you can see the suspended cable that will connect it to the Vigía hill.
On the other hand, the director of the Asipona Mazatlán explained that on the part of the board of the Parque Natural el Faro Mazatlán, I.A.P, there has not yet been a succession of rights, but he added that they have already started with the maintenance work in the place, at the same time that an evaluation of the site is being carried out, for the realization of new projects.
