Four People from Durango at Risk of Dying, Rescued on Mazatlán Beach

Members of the Municipal Public Security Secretariat, through the Aquatic Rescue Squadron, managed to save four individuals who were struggling to escape a rip current, thanks to a swift intervention.

The activation of location and rescue protocols took place in the Playa Sábalo 1 area. The individuals, originally from Durango, remained afloat until they were brought to shore, where they were assessed. It was reported that Moisés, Naomi, Miranda, and Iker, aged 32, 19, 8, and 10 respectively, only showed signs of fatigue and nervousness.

In another intervention by the lifeguards, a person who was causing a disturbance outside a restaurant due to their drunken state was handed over to the civil judge.

Additionally, personnel from the Aquatic Squadron participated in a course aimed at university students, which focused on aquatic care and rescue protocols, as well as flag identification.
