Fire reported in apartment tower in Culiacán


On Wednesday afternoon, a fire alarmed residents of an apartment tower in Culiacán, Sinaloa. The tower is located on Alfonso Zaragoza Boulevard, Maytorena, in the Ríos de Culiacán sector.

The fire started around 5:30 PM, on the ninth floor of the tower, which consists of approximately ten floors.

Firefighters responded quickly to the call, arriving at the scene to confront the flames.

So far, no injuries have been reported as a result of this incident. Around 5:50 PM, the fire was partially controlled, thanks to the efforts of the firefighters.

In addition to the firefighters, personnel from the Federal Electricity Commission are also at the scene, who suspended the electric power to facilitate damage control operations.
