MAZATLAN. – Do you want to learn about the total eclipse, how to observe it and learn about scientific terms? The Mazatleca Astronomical Society will offer Training for Safe Eclipse Observation and you will become an expert.
The training will be next Saturday, October 7 at 10:00 a.m. in the auditorium of the Institute of Marine Sciences and Limnology of the UNAM, where boys, girls, adolescents and adults can participate.
In this training they will learn how to make solar projection boxes, mythologies, nature, science and observation of eclipses, in addition, they will clarify doubts, break myths and give practical advice to be ready for the phenomenon that will occur in April 2024.

In addition, you will also be ready on Saturday, August 14 to observe the partial eclipse, with access to the breakwater, an event that will begin at 7:30 am. There you will have to wear comfortable clothing and sun protection.
A couple of days ago it was reported that from December 4 to 7, members of the National Aeronautics and Space Administration will be in Mazatlán as part of the preparations for the observation of the total eclipse of the Sun whose path begins in the port.
NASA plans to make a broadcast for the entire world that will be broadcast on its official channels but will also collaborate with public events through the installation of telescopes in different parts of Mazatlán.
The North American Space Agency team will give away special solar filters so that as many Mazatlans and visitors can enjoy this impressive astronomical phenomenon.
