MAZATLÁN.- There is nothing better than watching the series that you like so much, reading your favorite book or “scrolling” through social networks with good vision, and if you are one of those who thinks that something is wrong with those eyes, pay attention to this initiative of DIF Mazatlán and “Vosh Northwest”.

This is the campaign put together by the DIF Mazatlán System in collaboration with Vosh Northwest, an association of ophthalmologists and international volunteers, where it is sought that 3,000 Mazatlecos can receive prescription glasses at no cost, with more than 30 specialists collaborating. It can’t be better, huh.

At a press conference, the President of the Municipal DIF, María Teresa Apodaca Muñoz, pointed out that through this campaign it will be possible to assess and detect visual diseases such as cataracts, retinopathies, glaucoma, among others.

How can I get my glasses or a vision diagnosis?

All you have to do is go to the offices of the Municipal DIF System from now on, or if you prefer, call 669 915 8000 during office hours from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., to fill out a form with personal data and get your appointment so you can be attended.

When is the evaluation and delivery of lenses?

From May 29 to June 3 at the Genaro Estrada Community Development Center, at the address, Loma Linda, Genaro Estrada neighborhood, with different opening hours, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m.
