MAZATLAN. – The head of the Executive Secretariat of the State Public Security System (SESESP), Ricardo Guillermo Jenny del Rincón, stated that during the holiday period only official Rzr will be allowed to be deployed by the Municipal or State Police on the beaches of the entire state and near towns.
He said that these cars will be of important support to carry out a more effective security operation and provide better attention to visitors during this holiday period.
“The tours will be made along the entire beach, and only official ones are allowed, private vehicles are not, in order to avoid accidents where there is a greater concentration of people, specifically it is not that they are prohibited as such, but on the beach they are not allowed or in places where there are many people,” said Jenny del Rincón.
During the start of the Sinaloa 2023 Security Operation, patrol cars were delivered to small municipalities, a total of 26 units were given, two per municipality; 12 armored vehicles for the State Police, as well as 30 patrol cars.
For this 2023 another resource operation will be opened and it is planned to support Culiacán, Mazatlán, Los Mochis, Guasave and Navolato, although the number of assigned patrols is not yet available, it will also support the 13 smaller municipalities ”, she stressed.
