MAZATLÁN._ Within the framework of the Tianguis Turístico 2023, Viva Aerobús, in the company of the Secretary of Tourism of Sinaloa, Estrella Palacios Domínguez, announced its new route Mazatlán – La Paz.

According to a statement, with the firm purpose of promoting tourism in this destination, the ultra-low-cost airline signed a collaboration agreement with the state SECTUR to boost the positioning of this Sinaloan beach as a flagship tourist destination of Mexico.

La Paz will begin operations on July 1 with two flights a week (Tuesday and Saturday) and passengers will have the opportunity to fly in the youngest fleet in Mexico and the fourth in North America, made up of 70 modern Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft with an average age of only 5.28 years.

According to the airline, this expanded offer of flights at low prices in Mazatlán will contribute to generating a greater local economic benefit since passengers, by saving on their transportation, will have more resources during their trip for the benefit of the entire supply chain.

With this announcement, Viva Aerobús already has 12 routes in Sinaloa and endorses its commitment to air connectivity in the state, operating at the three local airports.

From Culiacán it flies to seven destinations: Cancun, Mexico City (AICM), Guadalajara, La Paz, Los Cabos, Monterrey and Tijuana; it also connects Los Mochis with the capital of the country (AICM); and from Mazatlán it operates four routes to Mexico City (AICM), Monterrey, Tijuana and, soon, La Paz.
